How to find us

The Old Shop, 32a George Street, Luton

By rail: From the Station, follow the signs to the town centre, walk through the Arndale Centre and turn left on to George Street. The Old Shop is opposite NatWest Bank, above Carphone Warehouse.

By car: Luton, and the town centre, are easily accessible via the A505 and A6 to the North, and the M1 to the South. After following signs to the town centre, reasonable parking can be found at at The Arndale shopping centre, the Bute Street and Chapel Street Car Parks. From the Bute Street Car Park, walk down from the George 2nd Pub and in to the Arndale Centre. Passing directly through the shopping centre, emerge opposite BHS. Turn left until reaching the Nat West bank. The Old Shop is located directly above Carphone Warehouse on the left. From the Arndale Carpark, enter the shopping centre, follow signs towards Chapel Street. You will pass the Old Shop on the right on exiting.

By bus: The Old Shop sits between the two central public transport areas on Church Street and Silver Street. From Church Street, the Old Shop can be reached by walking from the bus stop towards Market Square, and then heading directly towards the Town Hall. The Old Shop is on the right hand side after Barclays Bank, above Carphone Warehouse. From Silver Street, simply enter the Arndale Shopping Centre, pass through to the exit by the Town Hall and head left.

Buses close to The Old Shop include the 1 and 4, serving Farley Hill, the number 12 from Stopsley, the 100/101 to Stevenage/Hitchin, the 321 serving St.Albans and Watford and the X99 Virgin Bus to Milton Keynes. Please visit arriva to plan your journey.

About the Old Shop

This year both Dislocation events are taking place at the Old Shop, Luton, a dedicated arts space with a relaxed atmosphere, and a great sound set up. The Old Shop operates a hot and cold refreshments bar but invites guests to bring their own refreshments. Cake will be available from the Unthink gang.
